PDX Reentry Employment Services
PDX Reentry is one of the Economic Opportunity Programs designed to help low-income Portland residents who have barriers to employment. PDX Reentry is for people who feel that their justice involvement record is getting in the way of securing employment. People are eligible regardless of the charges or if they are recent or occurred decades ago. Our PDX Reentry Career Coaches provide long-term career coaching, working one-on-one with participants, helping them achieve their employment goals. The Coaches assists participants with skills needed to find and keep employment and help with career mapping career exploration. Coaches also help participants connect to short or long-term training to advance their careers and to improve their financial well-being. All PDX Reentry customers are also connected with Worksource and therefore have access to all the Worksource resources like workshops and potential training scholarships.
To be eligible for PDX Reentry, participants must be 18 or older, legal to work in the U.S. and must live in Portland.
