Justice Reinvestment / Economic Opportunity Program Department of Community Justice

Justice Reinvestment / EOP DCJ is one of the Economic Opportunity Programs designed to help low-income Portland residents who have been justice involved. EOP DCJ partners with the Multnomah County Department of Community Justice to serve customers who are on probation and participating in justice diversion programs including START, STEP, MCJRP, DV and DISP court.

Our EOP DCJ Career Coach provides long-term career support, working one-on-one with participants, helping them achieve their employment goals. The coach assists participants with skills needed to find and keep employment, helps them with career mapping and career exploration. The coach also helps participants connect to short or long-term training to advance their careers and to improve their financial wellbeing. All EOP DCJ customers are also connected with Worksource and therefore have access to all the Worksource resources like workshops and possible training scholarships.

To be eligible for Justice Reinvestment/EOP DCJ, customers need to be referred by a P.O. from one of the partnering Multnomah County court programs.
