Professional Immigrant Credential Program

The Professional Immigrant Credentialing Program (PICP) is located at SE Works/Worksource Portland Metro, 6401 SE Foster Road, Portland. This program is offered to eligible individuals who reside within the Portland City limits.

Walk ins are welcome from 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.

PICP is a program designed to provide culturally responsive service to immigrants and refugees with foreign degrees and certifications. The program offers personalized services including support with career planning, credential evaluation, resource connections, development workshops, and advice on US work and business culture.

This opportunity program offers highly interactive foundational job supports. Outcomes have shown that it is most beneficial for customers who are willing to communicate and engage regularly with their career advisor. Upon meeting employment or educational goals set in the career plan, there is additional support offered for 12 months supporting stabilization and long term success.

To be considered, candidates must meet each of the following criteria:

  • Live within the city limits of Portland.
  • Cannot exceed 50% of the median family income for Multnomah County.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Refugee or immigrant who is looking for work.
