Portland Clean Energy Fund

The Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF) is located at 6401 SE Foster Road, Portland. PCEF provides dedicated funding to address climate action that advances racial and social justice. The SE Works/Worksource Portland Metro PCEF Career Advisor offers employment support to customers interested in sustainable clean energy jobs. This could include jobs that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, capture carbon footprints, and promote community resilience to the impacts of climate change.

PCEF is a program designed to ensure that program investments benefit people who are most impacted by climate change and people who have historically been left out of the economic opportunity associated with climate projects. The SE Works program offers personalized services including support with career planning, resource connections, training costs, development workshops, and advice on transferrable skills qualifying a customer to forge a pathway in clean energy.

This program offers highly interactive foundational job supports. Outcomes have shown that it is most beneficial for customers who are willing to communicate and engage regularly with their career advisor. Upon meeting employment or educational goals set in the career plan, there is additional support offered for 12 months supporting stabilization and long term success.

Walk ins are welcome Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.
